Greg L. Van Ginkel, PMP, PMI-ACP, ITIL-C, FEAC

Director of Strategy, Visionist, Inc. 

Greg joined Visionist in March 2020 to support the CNO mission and help Visionist grow into as a small business. He wears many hats, including directing strategy for business captures and corporate operations, while supporting Visionist’s premier CNO prime contract. Serving national intelligence interests for over 20 years, Greg is a self-proclaimed "solutioneer", with a passion for finding work and leading teams to design and deliver mission solutions. His experience covers a broad portfolio of projects including large scale data storage and processing systems, ISR weapon support systems, information discovery and analytics processing, cyber engagement, IOT/OT/ICS, and platforms driving situational awareness for decision making. He enjoys working with directly with mission partners while leading teams to create a culture of innovation by bringing ideas together through collaboration and cooperative research. He enjoys giving back through school-based STEM programs and participating in corporate internship programs as a leader/mentor.

 

John Ommert

Partner, Constellation Technologies, Inc.

As a Partner at Constellation Technologies, John Ommert has over 29 years of experience supporting the government, military, and industry. At CTI, he oversees the business development, recruitment, and community outreach components of the organization. John’s breadth of professional experience includes former roles as a Data Analyst, Systems Engineer, and Business Development Leader. His diverse background has cultivated his unique appreciation for what “service” truly means i.e. work in service of employees as well the United States of America. Throughout his career, he has mentored transitioning service members, volunteered his time and experiences to not-for-profit events such as judging school science fairs, leading in emergent leadership groups, fundraising for technology exposure & scholarships, as well as facilitating small business development groups that promote industry collaboration and knowledge exchange.

 

Chad Michael

President, Synergy ECP

Chad Michael is an Information Technology executive with over 30 years’ experience working at the Department of Defense. He has a proven record of achievement in delivering strong business development, operational processes, and financial results. He has shown an excellent ability of marketing the company’s core competencies and strengths across client organizations to maximize business opportunities and the company’s image. He has acted as the Capture Manager and is directly responsible for winning six Prime contracts at NSA in the past 8 years. Recently, Chad worked with the participants in Synergy ECP’s intern program. The curriculum of the program focused on two goals:

  • Gather information about the world of eSports to allow the interns to plan, prepare for, and hold an eSports event
  • Using what they learned to pitch a viable business plan to Synergy ECP management focused on eSports

 

Shannon Swenson

Human Resources Director, Leidos

Shannon Swenson is a Human Resources Director within the Intelligence Group at Leidos.  She has over 20 years of HR experience within the Intelligence Community.  She is a strategic partner with the line organizations supporting new business, Compensation, Workplace Relations Employee Engagement and frontline leader coaching and counseling.  Shannon has also taken an active role in the organization’s Intern Program over the years, partnering with schools/organizations in the Columbia, MD area (NSSP and ACES program at UMD).

In her support of the Intern Program, Shannon has partnered with Leidos Programs and IRAD initiatives to create meaningful and challenging opportunities for the interns to participate in during their internships, with the goal of engaging with the interns and having career conversations, gaining sponsorships for clearances as well as transitioning the interns to full time employees at the time of graduation.
