Jason Barbour
President and Founder, Erias Ventures

Jason Barbour is the President and Founder of Erias Ventures, a government contractor focused on data science, software engineering, and system engineering, the Founder of Data Works MD, an organization focused on data science education and learning, and one of the founders of the DAX data conference. With a drive for success and a passion for technology, he has developed big-data analytics, enterprise automation products, and operational cyber tools for a number of customers and organizations. In his work with Data Works MD and DAX, he has built a community of enthusiasts working together to share and learn about the wonders and science of working with data. With Erias, he is building a team of high-caliber engineers that are bringing innovative ideas to the government.

Jeff Bullock
CEO and Founder, Clear Ridge Defense. Central Maryland Chapter  

Jeff Bullock is the CEO and Founder of Clear Ridge Defense, a rising small business supporting critical national security clients with offensive and defensive cyberspace operations, cyber threat intelligence, red team operations, tool development, infrastructure management, fires, targeting, capability development, incident response, cyber planning, malware analysis, forensics, reverse engineering, vulnerability research, cyber systems engineering and more. CRD has 70+ employees and two prime contracts supporting USCYBERCOM and MARFORCYBER. He firmly believes that with a strong work ethic, true willingness to learn, and self-accountability, we can tackle some of the toughest cybersecurity and cyberspace operations challenges. Jeff started Clear Ridge Defense in 2015 following a career as a Department of Navy civilian at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, where he formed the USCYBERCOM Integrated Product Team, leading SPAWAR engagement with USCYBERCOM, MARFORCYBER, and FLTCYBERCOM / 10th Fleet. He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 2009 with a B.S. in Information, Science & Technology under the Information Assurance track, with a Minor in Geographic Information Systems. Jeff is a local, Carroll County native, and enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Katie, and two boys, Calvin and Crew.

 

Devin Edwards
COO & CSO, Phoenix Operations Group, Northen Virginia Chapter

A seasoned director with 20+ years of experience as a leader and developer in both the federal and private sectors, locally and abroad.  Devin also volunteers in support of the AFCEA NOVA SB Breakfast series.
His areas of expertise include strategy, team building, business development, program management, capture management, big data integration, development of entity tracking software, collection systems, and the design and development of enterprise mission systems.

 

Christopher Carr
CEO & Founder, BSC Technology LLC, Aberdeen Chapter

Founder of BSC Technology LLC, a small business headquartered in the Aberdeen Proving Ground area providing Tailored Business Development Services to clients. Chris’ roles as a business leader, client relationship manager, project delivery, personnel/staff cultivation, and team leader enable him to coordinate multiple efforts based on business needs. Using his Business Development and Software Tools experience coupled with his Program Management expertise and techniques, he assesses, prioritizes, reviews, and wins through adept scheduling of resources and strategic just-in-time activities that successfully pre-position business opportunities for long-term sustainable efforts. Chris is recognized as a trusted advocate for the warfighter and the Army’s mission to provide key software components and utilities at the forefront of the battlefield. He is well respected within the DoD market, specifically within the Army C5ISR COE community. His support included assistance and leadership with Ft. Monmouth BRAC to APG, finalizing in 2011. His client portfolio is expansive within the C5ISR domain areas, bridging many technological and communications gaps and staying at the tip of the spear in the latest trends, representing product development, software, hardware, OEMs, and engineering service-oriented businesses
