Jason Barbour
President and Founder, Erias Ventures

Jason Barbour is the President and Founder of Erias Ventures, a government contractor focused on data science, software engineering, and system engineering, the Founder of Data Works MD, an organization focused on data science education and learning, and one of the founders of the DAX data conference. With a drive for success and a passion for technology, he has developed big-data analytics, enterprise automation products, and operational cyber tools for a number of customers and organizations. In his work with Data Works MD and DAX, he has built a community of enthusiasts working together to share and learn about the wonders and science of working with data. With Erias, he is building a team of high-caliber engineers that are bringing innovative ideas to the government.

Greg Sutton

Principal, Offit|Kurman Attorneys At Law

Greg Sutton is a principal attorney in the firm’s Business Law & Transactions practice group. Mr. Sutton maintains a broad corporate and transactional practice, with specific expertise in securities offerings, M&A, investment fund formation, private equity, and venture capital transactions. Mr. Sutton has represented clients of all sizes in hundreds of corporate transactions, ranging from the formations and financings of new companies to initial public offerings and multi-billion dollar public transactions, across a wide range of industries and market segments.

 

Prior to joining Offit Kurman, Mr. Sutton served as an executive officer (including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer) of several companies, driving and structuring fundraising, leading M&A strategy, and taking one company public. Mr. Sutton’s experience as a business executive enables him to provide comprehensive, practical and multi-disciplinary advice and counsel to his clients. Mr. Sutton previously practiced at two large law firms in Philadelphia. He is a graduate of New York University School of Law and Binghamton University.

 

Charles R. Kassouf

Of Counsel, Baker Donelson

Mr. Kassouf brings more than 15 years of experience in the investment banking, credit, and securitization markets to the practice of law. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Kassouf structured and traded collateralized debt obligations and other securitized assets and credit products at one of the world's largest banks. He rated collateralized debt obligations and other structured products at a nationally recognized statistical rating organization, and he structured general obligation, project finance, and securitization bonds for municipal clients at an investment bank.

 

As an attorney, Mr. Kassouf brings this experience to his legal work. Since being admitted to the bar, Mr. Kassouf routinely advises clients on business formations and transformations, mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, asset sales, reorganizations, partner buyouts or exits, regulatory and corporate compliance, and private securities offerings.

Mark is also a professorial lecturer in law at The George Washington University Law School (GW Law), where he teaches courses on computer crime, search and seizure of electronic evidence, national security, and computer forensics.
