Event Overview

The NSA Senior Acquisition Executive, in conjunction with the AFCEA Central Maryland Chapter, is proud to host the 2023 NSA/AFCEA Mission and Acquisition Symposium (NAMAS). The event this year will held at the Morrison Center, a new innovative, state-of-the-art facility on the NSA Fort Meade East Campus!  The conference will also be broadcast live on the high side network and can be viewed by anyone with NSAnet access. 

The classified (TS/SI) two-day conference takes place on Tuesday, November 28th and Wednesday, November 29th.  NAMAS provides an opportunity for NSA Mission and Acquisition organizations to offer insight into upcoming technological and mission challenges as well as capabilities needed to address NSA/CSS mission needs.  Acquisition organizations will present upcoming procurements and opportunities for partnership.  Attendees can network with Industry and Government participants at the NAMAS 2023 Social following presentations on Day 1.

Registration

Please note: Registration is NOT required to view the event from NSAnet. Streaming instructions will be posted at “GO NAMAS” on the high side network.

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance Adjudicated by NSA
  • Initial 2-per Company Restriction 

Registration Fees:

$175.00 per person to attend 2-day conference in the Morrison Center.  

Price includes daily continental breakfast, box lunch, afternoon snack, and drinks and hors d’oeuvres at the day 1 social.

Key Dates:

  • Tuesday, October 10th at 5PM EST - Registration to attend in-person will open. Only 2 per company may register.
  • Tuesday, October 24th - Depending on space availability, registration may be opened for additional registrants to include more than 2 per company. 
  • Tuesday, November 7th – Registration Closed – No refunds issued after this date.

REGISTRATION IS NOT FINAL UNTIL CLEARANCES HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED.

Clearances

Only NSA Cleared Affiliates may attend NAMAS. Attendees must have an active TS/SCI clearance adjudicated by NSA. Clearances sponsored by other IC or DoD agencies will not be accepted.

  • Attendees registering with an active NSA retention badge are responsible for ensuring their badge will be accepted at the facility.  Refunds will not be provided for badge denials and no Visitor Requests (VRs) will be processed by the NAMAS team after final registration closes.
  • Attendees who do not have a badge will need a VR approved. Clearance information will be provided during the registration process.  Once clearances are confirmed, you will receive your final registration confirmation email, including instructions on picking up badges and access to the facility.  Registration is not final until VRs have been accepted.  If you do not receive a final confirmation by Friday, November 10th, please contact NAMAS@centralmd.afceachapters.org.

Identification
All event attendees will be required to show a valid state or federal issued photo identification (i.e. a drivers license, state identification card, passport).
