Jason Barbour

President and Founder, Erias Ventures

Jason Barbour is the President and Founder of Erias Ventures, a government contractor focused on data science, software engineering, and system engineering, the Founder of Data Works MD, an organization focused on data science education and learning, and one of the founders of the DAX data conference. With a drive for success and a passion for technology, he has developed big-data analytics, enterprise automation products, and operational cyber tools for a number of customers and organizations. In his work with Data Works MD and DAX, he has built a community of enthusiasts working together to share and learn about the wonders and science of working with data. With Erias, he is building a team of high-caliber engineers that are bringing innovative ideas to the government.

Dr. Stacy Trammell, (ISC)² CAP, PMP

President & CEO/CSSO, Zavda Technologies, LLC

Dr. Trammell founded Zavda Technologies in June 2006 because she had a vision of what a cyber security services company should look like from both the customer’s and the employee’s perspective.  Zavda has a loyal customer base and a team of devoted and hardworking employees who cannot imagine working elsewhere.  Since June 2006, Dr. Trammell has propelled Zavda’s growth centered around the following core areas of focus: 1) Enterprise IT Support Services, 2) SIGINT Analysis and Reporting, 3) Cyber and Intelligence Analysis 4) Language Support Services.   Zavda’s workforce, comprised of more than 80% Veterans, supports the United States Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence community in providing national defense against foreign and domestic threats.  Zavda supports a variety of partners via subcontract awards and Zavda holds prime contract awards with the DoD on the EITO (Enterprise Information Technology Operations) contract as a Joint Venture (JV) member of ITSM Alliance and NINJAHIGHWAY contract as a JV member of Bravo Zulu Intelligence Solutions, LLC (BZis). Zavda also holds a GSA IT Schedule 70.   
Dr. Stacy Trammell received her Doctor of Management degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) in 2008. Her research includes the identification of The Best Practices of Small IT Services Providers in the Federal Arena, available via ProQuest UMI Dissertation Publishing. Dr. Trammell is published in “33 Gems: Wisdom for Living Pieces of Life’s Puzzle”, a compilation of motivational life stories, available on Amazon.  She also has a Master of Science degree in Information Technology Management from UMGC, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, among other degrees and certifications. Dr. Trammell currently serves as a board member on the UMGC Alumni Advisory Board. In addition to her academic accomplishments, Dr. Trammell is a Service-Disabled Veteran of the United States Air Force, and she has served in various private and public agencies for more than 30 years. 
Dr. Trammell’s success is due in large part to the priceless combination of hands-on experience and higher education. However, what truly sets Dr. Trammell apart is her charisma and passion, coupled with her natural leadership skills. At her core, Dr. Trammell is someone who simply desires to serve others—whether it is an employee, a business partner or a government agency—in the interest of a better and more successful tomorrow for her community. Dr. Stacy Trammell is the kind of leader that the “Women Who Mean Business” and "Executive Business Leader" awards were created to honor.  Dr. Trammell is the recipient of these awards amongst others.

Jeremy Shafer

President, EnDepth Solutions, LLC

Mr. Shafer has over twenty years of experience as a creative and detailed-oriented professional with a broad knowledge of the Information Technology (IT) and Cyber Security field. Mr. Shafer founded EnDepth Solutions in 2010 to support the Federal Intelligence Community in the Central Maryland region. In the past seven years, Mr. Shafer has grown EnDepth Solutions to over 25 employees and has won multiple Prime contracts supporting the Federal government.
As a certified CISSP-ISSEP/CAP and Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE), Mr. Shafer has also supported numerous government agencies and component level security programs. He is considered an expert at defining, developing, implementing, and assuring security policies, processes, tools and architectures that encompass logical network and physical security controls, security incident management and security status monitoring.  He has also conducted testing of these security policies at both lab and operational sites. Mr. Shafer began his career as a Signal Corp Officer in the U.S. Army where he led a team of experts through high tempo exercises while providing a myriad of IT and communication services.
Mr. Shafer has a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Baltimore/Towson University, a Master’s of Science in Information Assurance from the University of Maryland, University College (UMUC) and a Bachelor’s of Science in Microbiology from the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP).
